No visitor accounts
PerchPoints does not ask visitors to create an account, sign in, save favorites, leave comments, or submit locations.
Reviewed location data
Public image derivatives are stripped of embedded GPS and source metadata. Selected coordinates are reviewed separately and published in the site catalog as intentional GPS waypoints.
Necessary hosting data
The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which may process basic request information required to provide security and site delivery. PerchPoints does not add advertising trackers or cross-site behavioral profiles.
Address lookup
While you type in the custom Flyway builder, partial address text passes through PerchPoints to Mapbox to return temporary predictions. Selecting a prediction retrieves its coordinates. If you type a complete address without selecting a prediction, it is sent to the U.S. Census Geocoder when you submit the form. PerchPoints does not save the address or include it in the generated Google Maps link; that link uses coordinates and public PerchPoints.
